Where it all began.
Meridian Design and Build Limited was established in November 1997 and has over 20 years experience in the shop fitting, construction and refurbishment industry. We have successfully completed projects for both commercial and residential sectors.
The Directors are qualified in specific areas of construction and both have extensive knowledge and experience of the industry. This ensures that projects are always delivered within the correct specifications, are on time and within budget.
Meridian Design and Build have an outstanding reputation within the business and maintain this by ensuring that projects are handed over successfully.
We are a professional company who like to be involved from the beginning of a project. We work closely with clients, architects and designers, and always develop and complete work according to the original design and specification. Working with others during the timeline of a project is a priority, especially when having to overcome unexpected challenges.

HOW WE WORK
Our highly competent and professional team are led by the two Directors, David Hack and Mark Adams.
Meridian is in essence a family run business where the Directors sons, Stuart and Lewis, are both project managers. They work closely with the Site Managers and Directors, to achieve maximum efficiency and effective project delivery.
Our Site Managers have been in the business for over 15 years, and meeting the required Health and Safety procedures is including in their roles. We also have a dedicated Health and Safety personnel team to give them full support when needed.
Meridian are approved 'Safe Contractors' and produce and follow all Health and Safety legislation.
Together we have successfully completed projects for highly recognised worldwide restaurant brands, as well as for the commercial environment.
We also deliver high-end residential refurbishments and have worked on many grade 1 and 2 listed properties. This is where additional knowledge and attention to detail is invaluable.
MEET THE TEAM
On leaving school David found employment as an Electrical Apprentice and fulfilled his apprenticeship at Wandsworth Technical College. This led him to becoming an Installation Electrical Engineer, and soon after he chose self-employment. In his 20's he extended his skills to the construction industry by forming a company, which continued until the 90’s. He joined forces with Mark Adams in 1997 and Meridian Design and Build Ltd was founded.
Mark has been in the Construction industry for 31 years. He left school to go straight into an apprenticeship for 5 years studying at Vauxhall College. Upon achieving City and Guilds distinctions in Plumbing and Heating, Mark secured a management role for a established construction company. He established his own Plumbing Company in the 80’s, which successfully continued until joining forces with David to form Meridian Design and Build Ltd 21 years ago.
Lewis started his career in a Building Services Consultancy practice after graduating from Manchester University in 2014 with Mechanical Engineering BEng (Hons) degree. Lewis has worked on multiple residential and high profile commercial schemes as a Building Services Consultant Engineer. He joined Meridian in October 2016 as a Project Coordinator. Lewis works closely with Clients, Project Design Teams and Site Managers ensuring successful and effective project delivery.
Stuart began his working career with Meridian in May 2012, gaining an overview by working with Site Managers and Site Operatives. He gained a Carpentry Apprenticeship at Bromley College, and once qualified began working on construction sites as well as gaining experience in Meridian’s joinery workshop. Since 2016 he has been a Project Coordinator and works closely with Clients, Project Design Teams and Site Managers ensuring successful and effective project delivery.
